Water has always fascinated me, on every level. Its effects on all facets of life. The simple fact that no water=no life. It's beauty and its comfort. The fact that every single day it is critical to all that we do, even if we don't give it much thought. From basic survival to all the joy it brings us. When we recreate. When we sit by the ocean or a lake or a river. If we are blessed enough to live near it. These two images of my sons at a local pool are from when they were young, spending all day on many a Fourth of July, in what I would call very vivid blue water. These times meant the world to me. And inspire me to try whatever I can in my little tiny corner of the world to help move the conversation forward to try and conserve water and help innovate future solutions. I am also acutely aware that water insecurity exists locally, nationally and globally. That there are people, young and old, who don't think of water as a fun way to spend a day. For some it’s life or death.
Please conserve, wherever you can.
